PROVIDER SAFETY STANDARDS

Identity Verification
Every provider completes government-issued ID verification before their first job. No exceptions.
Background Checks
Comprehensive criminal background check run by a third-party screening service. Updated annually.
Vehicle Inspection
Providers must submit photos of their truck and proof of valid vehicle registration before activation. before activation.
Insurance Requirements
All providers carry minimum $1M General Liability (GL) insurance. No commercial auto required. GL certificate on file.
GPS Tracking
Every job is GPS-tracked in real time. Customers receive live location updates during service.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Any report of misconduct results in immediate account suspension pending investigation.

// ENVIRONMENTAL

DISPOSAL STANDARDS

Landfill Compliance
All providers must use licensed, permitted landfill facilities. Illegal dumping results in permanent ban.
Recycling First
Providers are encouraged to divert recyclable materials from landfill. Electronics and metals recycled separately.
Hazmat Refusal
Providers are trained to refuse hazardous materials. See our What We Don't Take list for details.
Donation Diversion
Usable items in good condition are diverted to local donation centers when possible.

If you experienced or witnessed unsafe behavior during a JunkAway job, please report it immediately. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
